For our first date, my girlfriend and I went to a restaurant for dinner that was near a park that we ended up walking around. So, I thought it was a good place to return to pop the big question. We went back to the restaurant and had a really nice dinner and I invited her to go on a walk. I had brought our chocolate lab with us, who I had been teaching to pick up a piece of paper and bring it back to me. As we walked through the park, we threw our dog's toy for her to fetch. Once we got close to the photographer pretending to be a bird watcher, I threw the toy near a rolled up poster I had hidden. Our dog ran up and grabbed the note just as she was taught. She brought it directly to my soon to be fiance. As she read the poster, "Will you Marry my Dad?" I got down on one knee.
