We met through Craigslist (I know...), like the plot of New Girl, and ended up living together since day one, which was the beginning of our story. We moved across the US and changed scenery, but the constant was always us. I knew it would never be questioned whether she would be the one I would propose to but rather when. After being together for close to seven years, I knew it was more overdue. Two years prior she had gotten down on one knee and proposed to me, only for me to turn her down simply saying "That's the one thing guys get to do, and you won't take that from me". She knew I was joking but also seriously that I would want to be the one to propose. I thought of all the possible grand gestures I could attempt to make this proposal memorable, but at the end of the day, what would be more memorable than proposing to her in the same spot she proposed to me? I had a good idea of the type of ring she wanted and the design, however, it was so difficult to find a jeweler that had this ring already pre-made.
