I met Katie while at a friend’s wedding in Vegas in December 2023. I was going to get some pizza and decided I wanted a chicken sandwich after seeing her restaurant. I walk past her and said “WOW!” in my head. I sat down and started talking with her. I came back the next day, then the next day… I worked up the courage to ask her to dinner and she eventually said yes. We went out and had an absolute blast! I extending my stay so we could hangout one more night. We made plans for me to come back in January but I couldn’t wait so I made a bold move to surprise her at the end of December. Ended up being a good surprise! I Came back again in January for our original plan. After that, I knew she was the one. Fast forward a year later and I asked if she’d married me while we were on a hike in Red Rock Canyon, with her son, to a waterfall that we visited on our first hike we ever took together. I can’t wait to call Katie my wife!
