The story begins with me frantically texting our hidden photographer that we were late and changing now, and would be at the beach cliffside shortly. When we finally get to the beach, we realize that there are 3 other couples in our dream spot, so Rachael decided that it would be better to move; a 100 feet down the mountain. After I tried to convince her to not go so far, she raced down just excited to see the sunset, unaware that I now had to tell the camera guy to stay hidden and move, while also not giving it away that it was our big night. After I finally caught up to her, we just chatted, waiting for him to move into position. I try to make small talk, and utterly fail, but after about 10 mins, I see him in position. I slowly begin to back away from her, sliding down this hill, watching as her face begins to realize what is happening. I get on one knee, grabbing her hands, saying how I adored her. I said my speech I had been practicing over and over in my head, just trying to not mess it up. Her face glowing as she is smiling at the upcoming question, and then I take her left hand, open the box, and say "I have a question for you. Will you marry me?" She looks at me and says "Yes I will." I put the ring on her finger, and we went in for a kiss. She then says "I hope you aren't sad that I am not crying. I am not processing this right now. And are you sure I didn't black out in the car and this is all a dream?" I just go in and give her a kiss and say "No this is real. And babe, I love you."
