We have an almost proposal story turned into a proposal story. We took a little trip up to the snow for the weekend where he planned to propose during our visit to the Grand Canyon. But once we got there, he began to panic about hiding the ring box and how to go about it since he had never been there before and did not know what to expect. So, at the last minute, there was a change of plans. Once we got back home that night, I ran out to grab us some firewood and when I got back there was a sign on the floor that said: “Kiri Stand Here.” I honestly thought he was going to silly string me or something haha! But apparently, he had propped his phone up and was recording, he came down the stairs, got down on one knee, and asked me to be his wife, in our first home together. It was the single most amazing moment of my life and the easiest “Yes” I have ever said. The ring is absolutely stunning, and I could not have dreamed up a more perfect ring if I tried.
