- For Customers located inside the United States, we offer FREE- no questions asked return shipping on all items within 30 days of purchase.
- For Customers located outside the United States we still offer a no questions asked 30-day return policy, though the customer is responsible for shipping costs.
All returned items must be in unworn condition accompanied by all original packaging and documentation including the diamond certificate. The 30-day timeline begins from the date of order delivery. Due to their personalized nature, the following orders are not eligible for returns : Items that have been modified one or more times; Items that are engraved/laser inscribed; Items that have been resized one or more times; Items that have previously been exchanged or upgraded; Custom designed jewelry. If your item has been previously returned for a refund, your next purchase will qualify for an exchange.

If we can resolve your issue without a return, we will be happy to do that! If, however, you feel you must return your item, we will ask that you send an email to [email protected]
Please list your order number with the word “RETURN” in the subject line. In the body of the email state that you would like to return your item and any information you feel will be helpful for us.
- If you are returning an item from the United States, our team will create a FREE shipping label and email it to you.
- If you are returning an item from outside the United States, a shipping label can be requested and the actual shipping cost will be borne by the customer.
2. Pack Your Return Order
- Ensure all original materials, including the actual product, the original packing box, and all documentation, including the diamond and appraisal certificates, are intact. Please note that a $250 replacement fee per certificate will be charged if the certificate has been lost or tampered with. Appraisal fees are non-refundable.
- For security reasons, do not write jewelry, diamonds, or other related words anywhere on the package.
- For safety purposes, please do double-box your package.
- Affix the label to the outside of the larger box and drop it off at your nearest courier company location. (we recommend UPS, FedEx, or USPS as our preferred shipping partners).
- Friendly Diamonds cannot be held responsible for shipping errors – we recommend that customers only use a staffed store-front to send in returned items. Please do not use drop boxes or non-staffed locations.
- Obtain a shipping receipt to confirm that the item has been shipped - this receipt will act as proof of shipment and insurance.
- Friendly Diamonds recommends purchasing insurance on the package up to the replacement value.
Once we receive the return parcel, our quality assessment team will inspect the item and begin the process of a refund.
*If the item is not in like-new condition there may be a follow-up email or inquiry for the customer to determine eligibility.
PLEASE NOTE: The appraisal certificate fee of $50 is non-refundable.
Refund Details :
- Refunds typically take up to 10 business days to process.
- Refunded amounts will be issued via the method of payment used in the original purchase.
- Refunds to countries other than the United States will be refunded in USD as per the exchange rate at that time – currency fluctuations between the time of purchase and the time of refund cannot be accommodated.
- Friendly Diamonds is not responsible for any foreign currency transaction fees that may be charged by the customer’s bank.
- For all credit card refunds, please allow one monthly billing cycle for your credit to appear.
